Born and raised in Sunnyside, Washington, Brad graduated
from Sunnyside High School in 1975. Younger sister Julie Naccarato
is a dental hygienist, and older brother Bernie Klippert, who retired
from military service as a Major after a distinguished 20 year career
as an officer in the United States Marine Corp., now works for the
Pasco School District.
After high school graduation Brad went on to college. He
played a year of soccer at Northwest College in Kirkland and a year
of football at Evangel College, in Springfield, Missouri. He returned
from Missouri to farm with family in the Sunnyside area.
From there Brad attended and graduated from
the Columbia Basin College Emergency Medical Technician (E.M.T.)
program and then on to Central Washington University Paramedic Program
where he graduated as a nationally certified paramedic. He worked
as an E.M.T. and a paramedic firefighter before joining the Pierce
County Sheriff’s Department in 1984. He worked for Pierce
County as a Correctional Officer and then a Patrol Deputy for 6+

In July of 1987 Brad joined the United States Army
Reserves. He was awarded the Commanding General’s Award for
Military Excellence in 1988 and was an honor graduate of his
Captains’ Career Course. Brad is currently serving with the Army National

the eastern half of the United States. While in Haiti Brad served
as a Detachment Commander of a Chinook Helicopter Unit. While there
Brad flew, (using a H-47 Chinook helicopter), a school and a hospital
to remote mountain villages, flew the Vice President of the United
States and the President of Haiti, playing an integral part in the
Haitian Nation’s first opportunity in history to have a democratically
elected president.
In
1991, Brad married Kim, a graduate of Northwest College, Kirkland, who
majored in Bible Literature. They now have two wonderful (biological) daughters, Alexis, 14 and
Aubrey Jo, 11. They hope to adopt their foster son Mason
soon. Alexis was the Honor Graduate of her Columbia River Young
Marine Boot Camp and completed her first tour of Space Camp at Huntsville,
Alabama. Alexis completed her second tour of Space Camp and Aubrey Jo

Brad returned to Northwest University, Kirkland in 1991,
getting his Bachelor of Arts Degree with a double major of Behavioral
Science and Biblical Studies. During this time Brad also became
a licensed minister. Brad went on from there to get his Masters
Degree in Teaching at City University, Tacoma.
