I am Brad
Klippert. As your next Representative I vow to fight for and
protect that which makes Washington a great state: hard working/law
abiding citizens, a prosperous economy and our Pacific Northwest way
of life. I stand for traditional family values, community and
personal safety, security, fiscal and social responsibility,
accountability, prosperity and economic opportunity.
Too
often our political leaders make choices based on what is popular or
most expedient instead of what is best and right. I believe
there is an absolute standard of values, principles and morals that
should guide our elected representatives during the decision-making
process. I pledge that you can count on me not to waiver from
that standard of guidance in introducing and voting on bills in the
House of Representatives.
Now, more than ever, the House of
Representatives can use another strong but compassionate, hard
working and ethical voice added to the Republican Caucus. I am
committed to keeping our schools, and our communities safe, while
providing an excellent education for our children. I believe
that the lives of the unborn, the disabled, and the elderly are
precious and should be protected. I believe that every citizen
deserves the right to pursue success - not simply through government
entitlements, but as a result of opportunity, hard work and
perseverance.
I am a fiscal conservative and understand the
need to live within our income. The State of Washington's
spending is totally and dangerously out of control. This issue
must be addressed, examined and corrected.
My background as a
public servant (both on the east and west side of our state) - over
21 years of military leadership experience, over 15 years of law
enforcement experience, a Masters Degree in Teaching with certified
classroom teaching experience, (Elementary, Middle School, High
School and College), give me the experience needed to make sound
decisions and prudent choices.
It has been said, "If you
don't stand for something, you will fall for anything." I
stand for and want the best for all of Washington and the people of
Benton County.
